Once upon a time, in a small village near a river, there lived a young girl named Zawadi. Every day, Zawadi would visit the riverbank to collect water for her family. One day, she noticed that the path to the river was becoming rough and dangerous to walk on. Large stones and thorns covered the path, and many villagers were finding it difficult to fetch water safely.

Zawadi thought to herself, “I wish I could fix this path for everyone.” But then she quickly realized she didn’t have the strength to remove all the big rocks or the time to fix the entire path on her own.

Instead of giving up, Zawadi picked up one small pebble and threw it into the river. Then she moved another small stone, and then another, until she had cleared a tiny section of the path. It wasn’t much, but she did this every day – just a few small stones at a time.

Weeks passed, and something amazing happened. Villagers noticed what Zawadi was doing and were inspired by her efforts. They began helping her, each person moving a few stones whenever they could. Slowly but surely, the rough path was transformed into a smooth, safe walkway for everyone.

One day, an elder from the village asked Zawadi, “What made you start moving the stones? You’re just one person. Did you believe you could change the entire path on your own?”

Zawadi smiled and replied, “I didn’t need to change the whole path at once. I just needed to start with the first stone.”

Engagement Time!

Zawadi’s story reminds us that we don’t need to solve all the challenges we face at once – sometimes, all it takes is small, consistent actions to create a huge difference over time.

Now, let’s reflect:

What “small stones” can you move today? – What little actions or ideas can you contribute to make our organization better or help someone around you?

Who inspires you to keep going? – Just like how Zawadi inspired her fellow villagers, who motivates you in your daily journey, and how can you share that inspiration with others?

Let’s get the conversation going! Reply with your thoughts and ideas. Feel free to share anything from personal experiences, quotes, or suggestions on how we can continue moving forward together.

Let’s keep pushing each other forward, one stone at a time.

Looking forward to your responses!

Together, we are stronger. Let’s stay connected and active!
