The sun had set, but the weight of the world still rested heavily on David’s shoulders. His eyes were tired, not just from the long day but from the endless cycle of trying and failing, of pushing forward and meeting roadblocks. He had poured his heart into every task, hoping that just one effort would finally bring him the breakthrough he desperately needed. But nothing seemed to work.

Sitting at the edge of his bed, his mind filled with doubts and frustration, he could hardly see a way forward. “Why does it always feel like I’m stuck?” he muttered to himself. The struggles were becoming unbearable, the rejections painful, and the journey lonely.

As he sat there, his mother walked into the room. She had seen this look on his face many times before—the look of a man battling with himself, questioning whether it was all worth it. With a gentle voice and a warm heart, she placed her hand on his shoulder and said, “Rest, my son. You have done a lot for the day.”

David exhaled slowly, as if releasing the burden he had been carrying. “But what if it’s not enough, Mom? What if all this effort is in vain?” he asked, his voice barely a whisper.

With a soft smile, his mother knelt beside him and looked him in the eye. “It is well,” she said calmly. “The future is always promising, even when today feels heavy. God never abandons His children. You may not see it now, but every struggle you face is shaping you for the better.”

David listened, feeling a flicker of hope reignite in his chest. His mother’s words weren’t just comfort—they were a reminder of the strength he had forgotten. He wasn’t alone, and even in his moments of doubt, there was a purpose in his journey.

“You’re right,” he finally said, wiping away the frustration. “I just need to keep going.”

His mother smiled again, “Exactly. God never gives His children battles they cannot win. Trust the process, trust the timing, and most of all, trust that you’re being guided.”

As David lay down that night, a new kind of peace washed over him. The day had been hard, but he now understood that every hardship was a step toward something greater. The future was indeed promising, and with that thought in mind, he closed his eyes, ready to rise again tomorrow with renewed strength.
Lights off😴😴
